But it has been a long, frustrating path to get to this point in the season.

GTG! 04-cheers

We've come a long way from the disappointing start to the season. I suspect many lessons have been learned along the way, and irrespective the outcome of this season, I'm very optimistic next year will benefit from the missteps of this year. In spite of expectations, Penny is still the least experienced head coach in D1, and I have faith he will continue to grow with time and games under his belt.

Penny wasn't wrong when he pointed out the devastating impact injuries have played.
To be fair, injuries didn't have anything to do with the UGA, Murray, and Old Miss losses.
But we have noticeably played better WHEN HEALTHY starting with Alabama.
Maybe the team actually turned the corner in mid-December, but not all fans - and zero media - actually acknowledged it.

We can have any 4 players you pick, out of the lineup if Williams is playing.
