Basketball prospects/offers; are these real?
I have seen a couple of Twitter accounts this week supposedly of players who claim to have received basketball offers from UAB. They both just opened their accounts in January, both claim to play for "Duncanville" (though one misspelled it) and both are claiming offers from several impressive schools. One is 7-5 and from the class of 2025 (which would make him a current freshman) and the other 6-10, which makes for a pretty impressive frontline for that high school.

A quick Google search doesn't show any players or prospects with those names, though one says he just transferred to Duncanville this past week. All in all, I am a little skeptical of those accounts, and if they are real players, with real offers. It wouldn't take much to just open an account, steal a few photos, and post your claim of offers.

Neither of the accounts have many Twitter followers--and most of them are UAB fans (and one is a UAB coach). They could be legitimate, but I don't know.

Can anyone who follows recruiting confirm these are real prospects, with real offers?

Well, they are a pretty good team. But these guys look like a couple of Jerome Harris' fellow five-star recruits. Note that the uniform AND the hair have been photoshopped (badly) onto this dude:

Yeah, sure, that guy looked like a 7-foot-5 high school freshman.

Yeah, and it seems to have worked on several of our fans, and a coach.
