I have seen this mentioned only minimally in previous threads. We had 2 games canceled. Are there any efforts or desire to get 2 more games played during this regular season? We should reach out to UT and Ala St and make this happen.
If those two teams are unable to reschedule, we should reach out to other teams who have had games covid cancelled. It would be most helpful to get another shot at a quality W.
Thoughts?

And they can broadcast it on ESPN Ocho+, only available at Applebee's with $2 tip provided to your host due to seating. or some other crazy a$$ exclusive nickel-and-dime deal.

I believe that Penny said during on of his media appearances that they basically took the net rankings and went down the list, contacting the various programs who have had games cancelled. No dice so far.

Hopefully something shakes out. There will be a team in similar shape on the bubble in next few weeks that will probably need the game as much as we do

I expect us to find a way to lose. If we win, it will be an unexpected, pleasant surprise. After the ECU debacle, tuning into games with that attitude is the only way I can watch them.

After everything that has gone on with Penny and UTk, not a snowballs chance in hell UT would be willing to reschedule.

Agree, but for a different reason - with our shocking under performance to date, they have nothing to gain by playing us.

He said he was close on a couple of MWC teams, but then it fell apart. Now, probably no urgency until we get healthy.
