I'm with you. Don't give much of a crap about them. If you are fighting for an at large, then those things all matter substantially more.

Well if we were to win the CAA Tournament, I certainly would rather be a 15-seed than a 16. But that ship has likely sailed for us barring a monster run through the CAA.

Just win, the rest will take care of itself. Better seeding in the CAA tournament = better chance to win CAA tournament=Ticket to Big Dance. The End.

O/U seems low. I am not expecting much defense in this one and think both squads will be in the 80s. Any time JMU loses, everybody wins. Kill their "at large" hopes, that they think they ever had. Good luck!

This is a game where both teams feel a fast paced game is to their advantage, and neither team has had lock down on defense, so I agree.

The O/U moved up from 143.5 to 146.5 since Proff posted it yesterday, so certainly the gamblers agree.

Over/under is now 147.

Teams play unequal nonconference schedules, unequal conference schedules in some conferences, and even with balanced schedules the difficulty isn't even at every point in the season. Therefore it is nice to have rankings of teams other than conference standings. I also like looking at conference rankings.

There's a difference between two 16s not in the First Four and four 16s in the First Four. There are bad conferences with conference tournament upsets. Getting better than a 16 is unlikely, but if you finish first at 14-4 or better and win the CAA Tournament, it's possible.

This game with JMU seems like a really big game to me. Now that we have wins over Delaware(pre season favorite) and CofC(first CAA road win for Siddle), a win at JMU takes down last years CAA conference champ and the second of the top four preseason favorites. A win also guarantees going 2-2 on this road trip and puts us in a good spot to go 3-1 with NU on the schedule. We could come out of this road trip with a 5-1 record heading into a 3 game homestand where I will predict the crowds start to swell.

I really like our three starting guards with Harvey, Thomas and now Fornes coming into his game. Baker, White, Kelly and Samb are holding down the fort in the paint with defense and offensive rebounding to round out the team. Going to 4-0 with back to back road wins would really solidify the legitimacy of the team and would bolster their confidence going forward.
