Even if he is rating it as a group, you have a Frosh All-American, not to mention a QB returning that supposedly was beating him out prior to being injured. Also adding in a highly touted recruit. If the best he gives that, not to mention the others in the QB room, a C then he is clueless or just looking for clicks and comments.

Exactly. First, he says Gunnell was leading the competition. So if you have a frosh-AA as your BACKUP, then that's a pretty good group.
Second, it comes to performance of the group. Seth performed. Yes, we had the 1 bad game where Seth was hurt. So dock us for that. Make it a A- or B+.
But a C? That is incredibly stoopid.

But I have a hard time believing even he is that dense.
Can someone post a link of his rating?
Then we can take out all our Tigers fandom frustrations on the hapless "writer".

Yeah, I looked up earlier. Sounds like few can actually read it, so…

Quarterback

Starter: Seth Henigan

Backup: Peter Parrish

Grade: C

Review: Grant Gunnell’s season-ending injury in preseason practice opened the door for Seth Henigan to start 11 of 12 games. Henigan threw for 3,322 yards and 25 touchdowns, respectable numbers for a true freshman. He showed off a nice deep ball – his 8.5 yards per attempt were second in the AAC – and if needed, he could run to get yards. Despite eight interceptions, there weren’t many games where his play cost the Tigers outside of his two-interception game vs. Tulsa.

Two questions for 2022, though. How much better will Henigan get adding weight and experience? Does a new offensive coordinator mean Gunnell has a chance to battle for the job? Remember, Gunnell was leading the competition before he got hurt. Time will tell but Henigan starts 2022 as the leader of the offense until proven otherwise.

Is Barnes the racecar guy who posts here who also gave Seth a c?

Asking for a friend.
