Rolleyes Big Line ups work... Duren & Malcolm together though. No Bueno
Coach should know this.

There's a reason why Orlando didn't stick with the Webber to Orlando pick. Webber and Shaq together would've been similar to this.

If JOHN CAMDEN was sitting in the corner wellllll (splash):

The Magic didn’t keep Webber because Shaq make it abundantly clear before the draft that he wanted Penny…

Yep just like Penny got them to draft Vaughn...

Just doesn't make sense to kiss a players butt who likely is going to leave anyway.

And back then Webber and Shaq would absolutely have worked...

Because they had the middle school illegal defense rules. If Shaq stood at the 3point line you had to guard him or be doubling the guy with the ball.

One of the many things I cant stand about Lebron. He picks and chooses who he wants on the team, even negotiating contracts for some of them. Then he always blames the players on the team for not winning. Somehow it is the organizations fault for not giving him better players even though he demands the players he has.

Case and point is when Lebron forced the Cavs to massively overpay for Triston Thompson which then prevented them from being able to sign other needed role players which Lebron then threw a fit about the Cavs not surrounding him with enough role players...

Labron is the goat. Or did the goat. I forget which one it was.

It was Lomax' fault. It was not because Shaq demanded it.

The problem is not having two bigs on the floor together. Any combination of Duren,Williams or Minot is the foundation of any and all of our best lineups. Dandridge is the problem. He’s a blackhole of ineptitude, anytime that he touches the ball there's a greater than 75% chance that he is going to turn the ball over or miss the shot. He very rarely ever looks for the open man to kick the ball out to. Before anyone says but he's had some good games I'll repeat what I've been saying for weeks. "IT'S FOOLS GOLD". Malcolm is only effective when he is in the absolute perfect position where he doesn't have to dribble and no one is around to contest him cleanly catching the inlet pass or he'll turn it over and once he has the ball he has to be able to just jump and dunk it. His defense is the worst I've seen from a 3rd year bigman. He's literally always a step behind forcing the other bigs to take the foul or he will just stupidly foul himself to cover up his lack of defense. Almost Anytime Malcolm is on floor the offense become stagnant because of the amount of wasted possessions that he creates while creating a defensive hurdle for the rest of the team.

Last year, he showed potential to be a very good passing big man. This year, he doesn’t seem to know where to be. He seems lost when Duren is on the floor.

The way Penny wants to play...Unless the other team has a scoring big... our best lineup likely is small.

If we are going to switch everything on Defense...Duren is negated on the glass and on rim protection because it is too easy to get him out of the paint.

Penny is going to have to actually coach and come up with schemes that maximizes his teams ability...You cant keep going to schemes to make it as simple as possible because they "don't understand"...The problem is not that they cant understand...That problem lies elsewhere.

I freaking HATE the 5 man switching crap. Duren (and Dandridge) should be near the goal at all times. AT ALL TIMES. You want to switch on the other 4.. sure, but all you are doing is setting D/D up for failure bringing them out to the 3.

Agree...And putting Tyler on a Center in the post.

But switching everything is simple to teach...Penny has to do better.
