RE: New Zappe?
Next season’s Zappe is this guy from Incarnate Word who followed his OC to Washington State. He’s the real deal.

But I expect WKU’s new QB to be prolific too.

As a herd fan that hates wvu, i am sad to see doege go because he was a mediocre qb and wvu couldn't win with him.

You moat definitely didn't strike gold. He is ok, he won't kill you, but he isn't going to win for you either. You're gonna need other pieces to do that and if your defense sucks, he isn't gonna cover that up like zappe.

Thanks for the non-biased analysis. Worst case scenario he's better than any QB the Herd will roll out next year. I'll take our offensive scheme and history of propelling QB's to elite status and see you next November.

At times, there are flashes of brilliance. At other times, he's very pedestrian and seems to lose focus. I'm not sure he'll get much better, but then, again, he's already very good most of the time. He will NOT have the mobility or the accuracy of a Zappe, but he will be a force to contend with at WKU. When he's on, he's on. All in all, a good get for the Hilltoppers.

The Zapper is as good as his ratings. I'm hoping that they shelve Dak and replace him with The Zapper. I love this kids play. He'll be another Brady in my mind.
