FAU (189) at UAB (40) Saturday 15 January 2022

FAU lost last night at Middle Tennessee (125), 70-57. It was actually a blowout. MT led 40-24 at halftime, and 68-44 with 5 minutes remaining in the game. FAU finished the game on a 13-2 run.

FAU comes into Saturday’s game with a record of 1-1 in C-USA and 8-7 overall. Their best win was a nice victory at Marshall (233) a week ago. Their worst loss was at High Point (290).

KenPom has it UAB 79 - FAU 65.


Rankings have been switched to NET rankings.

Need another blowout. If we play like we did the last 30 mins last night, that should happen.

Can you do these with the NET rankings since the KenPom doesn't matter in regards to the big picture. I like KenPom and think its a superior ranking but doesn't mean anything unfortunately.

I can certainly add the NET rankings, and I will, but the site is not user friendly. Let me see what I can add.

I always use NET Ratings in my posts as the are the only numbers that actually matter as you said. What site are you using? The official site is sortable by conference which makes it very easy to navigate.

Regarding that last meeting with FAU, which UAB lost, UAB led 56-49 with six minutes remaining in the game. FAU finished the game on a 16-2 run. Yes, UAB scored 2 points over the last six minutes. Dang!

About to start. I’m hearing a lot of “bricks” in the background of the telecast.
Hopefully that was FAU’s basket.

Quan showing exactly why he should never shoot a contested shot from outside of 6-8 feet of the basket. He’s good at finishing at the rim and slashing/driving to the basket. Good shot selection by the team so far.

Leblanc just blocked their “best player” with the hairline back to the crown of his head and it landed into the same players hands out of bound lol.. don’t see that too often
