I mean, its not worth it to hash out who will and won't do what next year.
But Williams can and should score about 20 points a game (15+, let's say). Thornton is currently averaging 8.6 and showed improvement from last year.
They'll also be adding Yazid Powell who, yes...JUCO...but still..., just scored his 1,000th point in college. They're also bringing in David Coit who has shot 188 three pointers this year and has made 50% of them. He has 701 points on the season.
Those guys will both come in as JUCO transfers (Powell as a junior and Coit as a sophomore).
I'm also hoping they bring in Anthony Roy who is a 41.5% shooter from behind the arc and is averaging 25 points per game. But, it seems like Burno may be leaning heavier on the bigs right now. So, who knows.
Anyway, the point is, they're losing Hankerson (probably) but, he is bringing in some guys who are scorers, which, outside of Thorpe, Montgomery couldn't seem to do.
Obviously, no one knows if either of those guys will continue to succeed at the next level. But in reshaping the roster, he's targeting guys who can score.
