Sorry but Penny's team doesn't pass the smell test. No business taking a slot in the national championship tournament. There are at least 86 teams with a more legitimate claim to be in.

Nice job self-handicapping our season expectations.

This team won't be a NCAA tournament team unless the defense improves. Doubt we're make the tournament unless we win the AAC. I do expect a few more losses throughout the season. When it comes to the conference tournament, the last thing Memphis needs to do is be at seed 3 and seed 6 and lower.

I think 10 total losses and we are out. So that means we can only lose 2 more regular season games plus one in tourney and get an at large. Odds of that as it stands is probably around 2%

+100 for this. I agree completely. I am at the point where I have to really think if I want to watch a game. I have absolutely no desire to hear the crap from the players on the radio after the game, and I totally don't give a sh!t what penny had to say after a game, on his radio show, or his tv show. I just don't need the negative feelings that come with giving any attention to this program at the moment.

If he doesn't get his sh!t together, it is gonna be real hard for me to support his program.

Houston allowed 70+ points just twice. The opening night game against Hofstra (a game that went into Overtime) and Alabama.
Memphis has allowed 70+ points 8 time already. We're 3-5 when we allowed 70+. Both teams are scoring 78 points per game.

Last season, we allowed 70+ points just 7 times.
