RE: 2022 NFL Playoff Bracket
Since my team didn't make it this year, I'll be rooting for the Bills in the AFC and the Cards in the NFC.

Not a big fan of the Monday night wild card game.

My team isn’t in either. I’m rooting for any first time champions: Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, or Cincinnati Bengals. If none of them win, then I’m hoping Tom Brady continues winning.

Neither am I. They could have just placed this game on Saturday.

Then you ought to hope few people watch, because if the Monday night game draws an audience as large as or larger than the Saturday games, the NFL will continue playing a wild card game on Monday.

I know its a TV driven metric, but this weekends slate did nothing IMO to justify delaying public executions beyond the weekend.

The NFL and Disney will probably stick with the Monday night wild card game for another year or two. They were probably hoping MNF would do as well as the Saturday games, which draw fewer viewers than Sunday games. But, the MNF audience was 15-20 percent lower than that of the Saturday games.
Rams-Cardinals on Monday had 23.0 million viewers, compared to 26.4 million for Patriots-Bills on Saturday night and 27.7 million for Raiders-Bengals on Saturday afternoon.

I think compared to the 1pm timeslot which it would have on Saturday, they're happy with it. The 1pm Saturday game in 2020 season drew exactly 20 million viewers. So yeah, it's not going anywhere.

Rodgers like for people to think McCarthy is the reason the Packers haven't had much playoff success. But the answer is honestly in the mirror.

After the last 7 days, the answer would seem to be both of them.

You can't have a playoff game that ends like that one... end like that.... The way Allen and Mahomes were playing.... a coin flip for OT possession determines it.

Still, that L was on the Bills' D.

What would your QBR be if you threw it on the ground on every play?

That is why it can end the way it did. If defense doesn't matter OT then use college rules.

That L is on the head coach. If he orders a squib kick at 0:13, then the Chiefs don't have enough time to run two plays from scrimmage and a field goal attempt.
