I am really sad to see Marshall and Dan D'antoni struggle so much right now. No more excuses. I didn't see this 5 game losing streak coming, at all.

Solid job with the rankings this week. I might put WKU and Rice in a tie at 4th, and MT played better than an 11. But it looks reasonable.

I have no issues with this ranking. Tech is tops until proven otherwise.

The schedule has been somewhat favorable for us thus far. Things will change. I think 14-4 wins the regular season title. Now, there might be two teams tied at 14-4 but one of them will have some kind of tie-breaker.

Our losing I. Crawford for the season will come back to bite us.

I’m not ready to give Rice a top 4 *yet*, I agree with Side Show that Western KY still deserves a top 4.

And if Rice and UNT are both this good, then MTSU playing us both to the wire on the road probably means they’re still a top 8.

There’s a lot of teams clustered in the middle (5-11 in my opinion). Marshall might be mired in the middle right now but they aren’t dead last, no how no way… even after last nights showing.

Those seem about right, but I'd still have Western 4th (with Rice 5th). And maybe Marshall had the worst week, losing at home to a FAU team that hadn't played in about 3 weeks. But I did see they were missing 2 starters out with Covid. I'm telling you Covid makes everything impossible to figure out. Even if your guys are playing, there is no telling how fresh they are.

And it would be nice if the conference could give some clarity on how or whether postponed games will be made up. Charlotte now has to make up 3 games? Good luck with that.

We should find out fairly quickly on Rice vs WKU, as they play this week.

Beating the #1 team is enough to jolt Rice up the board.

The rankings are a reflection on current play. So it's quite possible we see others in the bottom half here play their way up

As far as Marshall, we are on a 5 game losing skid, so I can't confidently rank them above anyone right now. Their is simply no one playing worse right now. I do think we have the talent to play up into the 6-10 range, however, I mistakenly believed we were more of a top 5 team prior to this skid.

Playing on the road at WKU will be a tall task for Rice. No disrespect intended to the Owls, but WKU is a complete team, I don't see the Hilltoppers losing this game.
