It seems like a good idea for police officers to chase after a bad guy when he steals a car, especially when they have the dude in their crosshairs. Unless, of course, you’re a liberal voter – then it’s a bad idea!

All over the country now, cities run by lefties are seeing spikes in crime directly due to the policies they have implemented.

On one hand, you have to feel bad for Democrats because they don’t know what they’re doing. On the other hand, you cannot feel badly for them because they know exactly what they are doing.

It’s a fine line.

In reality, though, what it comes down to is that libs hate their country and favor criminals over patriots.

It’s really that simple.

According to Seattle Police Department Sergeant Randy Huserik, the incident stemmed from a call placed by a passerby, who initially told dispatchers there was a vehicle parked on the sidewalk with its engine running.

Officers responded to the scene, and after making contact with the occupant of the car, discovered from the license plate that the vehicle had been reported stolen. Additional units were then summoned, “to assist in attempting to take the driver who was in possession of a stolen vehicle into custody.”

“Public safety being paramount, we have to factor in time of day, weather conditions, the activity of both vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the area,” he told KIRO Radio’s Gee & Ursula Show. “Then, of course, we have our pursuit policy in the SPD manual — that dictates when and when we cannot pursue a vehicle, and in this circumstance, our pursuit policy did not allow officers to go after that vehicle.”

Law enforcement in several areas across Washington have voiced complaints regarding a statewide policy that went into effect last year, which limits the situations in which officers can stage vehicular pursuits. According to Huserik, this instance would have played out the same regardless of that new law.

Remember back when Seattle protesters tried to murder cops by burning them alive? Yeah, these Joe Biden voters are some of the worst people you’ll ever meet.

Unfortunately, Democrat “leaders” like Schumer, Pelosi, and others refuse to tell Antifa and BLM to knock it off.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has reportedly become involved in an apparent Monday attack on Seattle police officers by left-wing rioters, who allegedly sealed the door to the East Precinct shut with a substance suspected to be concrete and started a fire to the building.

Radio host and journalist Jason Rantz reported Tuesday evening, “Seattle rioters used a substance suspected to be concrete to seal shut the door to the East Precinct, the Seattle Police Department has confirmed. At the same time, the rioters tried to set fire to the building. ATF is now involved.”

Why put your life on the line and do your best to protect a city that doesn’t want to be protected, right?
