When I first heard his comments, I lost a lot of respect for him. He's smart and should have known long ago that saying things that echo leftists hyperbole won't win him friends on the other side of the aisle. It's an illusion that many RINOS fall into.

Tucker is correct. If Ted is taking major flak from the right, he deserves it for that comment. If this is what he truly believes, I and many others seriously misjudged him. To think that before Trump entered the race, I was supporting Cruz makes me ill.
