Football cards never took off like baseball cards. But I do remember that Don Maynard was my first football card, given to me by my cousin.

#13 was an incredible ball player. Loved those early (AFL) Jets and Maynard was the perfect receiver for the brash Namath. Did not know he had played for UTEP. Sorry for your loss, Miners.
