Why is there not more than one tournament like there is in basketball?

Most JSU fans are holding off on joining here, just because most non-expansion discussions don't really have anything to do with us:

Even the expansion discussions aren't drawing JSU fans in great numbers, simply because they've been so thoroughly explored, there's not a lot to add to the discussion.

Most of us weren't on CSNBBS at all until the ASUN Football thing happened, and even then, we were barely settled in that conference before the CUSA invite came our way. People who hadn't yet joined to talk about the ASUN are now waiting until we're officially in CUSA to do it.

Many ASUN discussions are centered (unsurprisingly) on expansion to replace JSU and Liberty, and while I've posted a few times over there, it's kind of awkward. We're in limbo. Lame chickens. Dead Cocks Walking.

What I'm trying to say is, give it time. Our regular fan board (gojaxstate.net) gets solid traffic, and several of those people are lurking here already. They're just waiting to register and post until discussions about CUSA sports directly involve Jacksonville State.

I do think we will have more JSU fans here once the transition is complete. At least one in particular I would bet money would be posting here a lot. I am into the whole realignment thing so I mostly post there now. Not much for us to discuss until we are playing actual CUSA games.

Not a fan of the conference being so spread out but it is what it is.
