Wait, did we have a lot more companies processing 12 months ago? If not, market share or control isn’t the issue.

This will ultimately lead to either higher prices or food rationing. **** Joe Biden.

RE: Biden is taking on Big Meat!
There’s been a big push to drop meat / animal product diet & go to a vegetarian / vegan diet the past couple years. Health & ‘climate change’ reasons cited (tho probably $$$$ is the real reason, lot of these vegan diet pioneers Ivy League grads & therefore probably in w/ the rest of them). Getting some help from the government & going after big meat was the logical next step.

Just one more diversion to take attention away from the abject failures that have resulted from President Houseplant's administration. As usual, they picked an industry and tried to pin a 'problem' on them. When government gets involved, the 'problem' will likely get worse. Usually, the government creates the problem. In this case, they will exacerbate it with more silly rules and regulations. Same as it ever was.

They ignore the 800 lb. gorilla lurking in the room, which is inflation that every American can see and feel.. They caused the massive inflation and now want people to look elsewhere at other imaginary problems.

RE: Biden is taking on Big Meat!
Nothing going to happen to these big meat companies. Here are Tyson's largest shareholders.
Stockholder Stake Shares owned
The Vanguard Group, Inc. 11.38% 33,554,868
BlackRock Fund Advisors 4.91% 14,462,250
T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. (I... 4.80% 14,152,243
SSgA Funds Management, Inc. 4.66% 13,720,373
The first two are also two of the largest holders of Comcast and Disney. They control the narrative.
This is why I am having a hard time trying to figure out what Sloe's angle is here other than a diversion for the sheep.

Blackrock and Vanguard own most of the USA* and so many don't realize it. But good catch and you're right. With those two in ownership, nothing will happen.

* that China doesn't own

I JUST returned from the local Kroger, where I bought Williams sausage for $4.79/lb. This time last year it was $2.00.
