Progressives Let Loose on Joe Biden's Age and Issues, Say There Will Be a Challenger
Quote:There’s been a lot of quiet speculation on the left about Joe Biden’s ability to run again, much less whether or not he would stand a chance given how unpopular he is at this point.

As we previously noted, even reliable Democratic media organs like CNN were throwing up thoughts about who might run in 2024, “if” Joe Biden “decided” not to run. Their choices showed the problem of just how weak the Democratic bench is. Kamala Harris also showed that she hadn’t been advised on the issue of whether Biden was running again when she said last month they hadn’t even talked about it. That, despite White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki saying in November that Biden was running again. As we noted, polls indicate he would not fare well against President Donald Trump and most Americans doubted his mental fitness and almost two-thirds thought him too old for the office.

Now some of that speculation is getting louder and just a bit more pointed when it comes to Joe Biden’s issues. Democratic strategists are saying a progressive will run against Biden and one progressive strategist didn’t mince words when it came to Biden’s shortcomings.

Jeff Weaver, a former presidential campaign manager for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), said there would be a progressive challenger. Some think it might be Nina Turner or Marianne Williamson, who ran in 2020. Neither seems like they’d have much of a chance. But then the unhappiness about Biden runs deep, according to Corbin Trent, former communications director for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, and co-founder of No Excuses PAC.

“He’s deeply unpopular. He’s old as sh–. He’s largely been ineffective, unless we’re counting judges or whatever the hell inside-baseball scorecard we’re using. And I think he’ll probably get demolished in the midterms,” Trent said.

Don’t hold back there, tell us what you think.

But that opinion is in great evidence when it comes to Joe Biden from the folks on the left in his party. They feel like he sold them down the river on Build Back Better and hasn’t brought it over the finish line. He hasn’t canceled student debt and they’re mad about that. They see him as promising everything and then coming across with nothing, not delivering on a lot of the goodies they think that he promised them.

Some of the far left climate crazies camped out near where Biden is vacationing in Delaware, demanding that he receive them or accept a letter from them. They wanted him to declare a “climate emergency.” Listen to the mania as you hear one of them say we only have “seven years left” before we reach catastrophic levels of carbon in the atmosphere. They chastised Biden for not doing enough.

These are the types of folks that Biden has to keep happy and hold in check — the folks who are habitually unhappy. It’s one of the reasons that that left is always a mess. Because it’s impossible to get their act together. It’s why even when you have Republican problems, the Democrats are always snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Many on the left are likely to stay home in the midterms if they don’t get what they want and vote for someone else if Biden is the nominee in 2024. They’re going to do all they can to try to get what they want from Biden but if they don’t feel like it’s enough, they’re perfectly willing to sit out elections.

Doesn't matter who they run. If the Swamp wants him, they'll get him.

I heart what that dimwit broad was saying.

Wonder if she plans to cook anything to eat or plans to have another change of clothes to wear for the rest of her life? Well, then guess what toots, someone somewhere gonna be "burning" something.

These people are certifiable. And it doesn't look like Albert has missed too many cheese burgers. 07-coffee3
