Were they ignorant anti vaxers? If so seems like you'd be happy.

Nobody would be happy about something like that.

Except maybe you GR who could try to turn it around into an ignorant Post like that.

Apparently ignorant anti vaxers will all be dead eventually raising the average IQ of those left. I was just wondering if these people were part of that group.

No, your "If so seems like you'd be happy" quote made it all too clear your political-philosophical take on the subject.

Not shocking really. The virus hit heavy population centers early, which tend to lean more left. Now it's truly gotten EVERYWHERE (especially with omicron) and as the vaccine rollout continues, those who refuse to get vaccinated (which currently lean heavily right) will be hit harder.

Wife and I went almost 2 yrs. ducking the virus, triple vaxed, yet came down with COVID this weekend. So far, only mild symptoms for the two of us.

Glad to hear it is seemingly mild. We had some friends at the pregame tailgate that were fully boosted that tested positive the mid week after. A couple very mild and a couple that it is hitting pretty hard. No hospitalizations, but a couple of trips to urgent care and lots of meds.

A little off topic, but now that there are so many variants out there, I am wondering if there are instances of dual or multiple infections. Are some of those testing positive for omicron also infected with delta simultaneously?

Everyone's going to get it this time around, but at least it'll change the narrative, and herd immunity is around the corner.

Herd immunity doesn't really work when you can get it over and over, and it mutates like this.

Oh, please!

He is a comedian, but does cite some interesting, objective, data. The comments about the cheap politicizing COVID are particularly good.

Exactly. This doesn't seem to be something that will reach a herd immunity. My friend is an ER doc who contracted it in April 2020, November 2020, and December 2021 (obviously vaxed and boosted.) He mentioned the most recent bout with covid was the least impactful compared to the previous instances.

There's no herd immunity on the 4 other endemic coronaviruses which cause the common colds either. COVID-19 is well on its way to joining this group.

How many more deaths while it's "well on its way" that could have been prevented by vaccinations-boosters are you willing to accept?

I'm not sure what you're asking, vaccines are available to anyone who wants one. How many deaths could have been prevented if America wasn't so fat and unhealthy?

Many deaths could have been avoided if we would have taken it seriously at the start instead of; "its fake news, its a hoax, it will just go away like magic, we are rounding the corner" and muzzling medical scientists.
