Joe was at the top of the key, Chris was on the wing. Joe looks over at Chris, Chris is looking at him, Joe throws the ball to him. Just as Joe goes into throwing motion, Chris looked away. The ball hit Chris on the shoulder and bounced out of bounds.

Josh starts jumping up and down yelling at Joe and snatches Joe out of the game for the rest of the half.

Yet Chris would throw the ball three rows into the stands at least once each game and was never pulled.

The difference is that Chris was always smiling while Joe had that hard, determined look.

That told Josh that Chris was a better player.

Josh also had this weird idea that Chris was his best defender on the team. CC was one of the most lackadaisical defenders I can recall.

My exact thought…

Joe is the exact opposite in that he was not liked by the coach not the fans.

Not sure about that. I remember a lot of vitriol spewed on a kid who'd been eating out of a dumpster 18 months prior.

Also needs to be pointed out that Joe Jackson was the best player on the team his JR and SR year by the advanced stats. He was the 5th best and 3rd best his freshman/sophomore years. So basically he couldn't be more different than Alo who currently sits at 2nd worst player on the team even in our huge rotation.

Are you quoting box score +/- again.

The stat that said Lomax was the 2nd best on the team last year.

The whole deal with JJ wouldn't have been bad if Crawford would have been given the same treatment. Crawford was lazy, JJ worked much harder than he did, but Crawford could make mistake after mistake and it didn't matter.

Josh would bench you for trying to make something happen and failing.

He would leave you alone if when you were missing you just stopped shooting and disappeared
