They’re not good 3 point shooters yet they insist on taking a Sht ton of them and many of them off balanced or without anyone inside to rebound. Work for higher percentage shots, drive to the glass, do something other than chuck bad 3 after 3. Its awful. Credit the defensive effort in second half. Its more like what it needs to be. And Lahkin is single handedly destroying the stereotype of Russians being tough. He’s been utterly terrible.

We don't have enough time to win this game, but the defensive adjustments after halftime are encouraging. You can't coach bad shooters into making shots...and we have bad shooters in droves.

Bearcats have missed their last 7 free throws.

UC is a putrid team offensively, specifically shooting, and they haven't played a game in two weeks. Why is this surprising that they're not scoring? Coaching can't fix busted jumpers.

No, that's recruiting...from the looks of what I've seen from Shillington and Reed, he's attempting to change that. If you're attempting to fix every hitch, clutch, and misfire in a kid's jumper, you're missing opportunities to attempt to install defense, offense, and work on all other factors of the game that one can actually coach into players.

I think you can run offense to put guys in spots they are comfortable in.

Agreed...and we've been getting tons of open looks, especially around the rim. If they aren't dropping, they aren't dropping. Also, they've missed 13 FTs in a 9 point game...
