I can get totally agree with the “we don’t have the offense to be good right now” but what I can’t get beyond is the absolute awful defense and bad defensive fundamentals. 4-6 Tulane has nearly 50 pts at half? This isn’t a top ten team doing this to us. The last two coaches don’t seem to get the fact that defense is UC’s DNA. And so much of defense is effort and technique. Not so much skill. I’m also worried about regression. Beating a ranked Illinois team to this sort of performance??? That’s going the wrong way. And having to watch bad shooters take bad 3s over and over and over again, and Miller doesn’t seem to have an issue with it. Commit to defense and realize because you don’t have the offense to really compete, you better be rock solid defensively.

I hated Brannen this is worse.

Brannen's teams were mediocre, not abysmal like this. He at least installed a semblance of a recognizable offense.

This team has 3 halfway decent players on it and needed to fill spots and minutes with role players who were nothing special on their old teams because there was not a whole lot of time to do much more.

Archie Miller sounded good at the time, somebody with access to high level recruits.

Watch us go on this little run only to throw out a line-up of MAW, McGinnis, Hensley, Oguama and Koval after the timeout.

That's such a bs charge. Wasn't in the ballpark of set. Huge swing in this game.

First it's "Occam's Razor."

Second, your logic fails to explain how/why this team played well enough to BEAT a ranked Illinois team and hang with a ranked Arkansas team but now cannot hang with a sub .500 Tulane squad...AT HOME.

This team is not playing at the level they were somewhere earlier in the season. But you're right...nothing to see here.

How can college basketball continue to allow plays like that to be called charges. It’s an absolute joke. It’s literally making it unwatchable.

Let’s be honest, other than Tari the recruiting here has been sub-standard since 2017. We don’t have any “dudes” on this roster. I am tired at watching other teams and seeing guys that look like Bearcats. I don’t know what needs to be changed— but whatever it is fix it.

Ridiculous. Not even close. Make up call on the Saunders double dribble.

+13 since they started shooting like a normal basketball team and we decided that the floor inside the 3 point line wasn't lava on offense.

Davenport has more points than the rest of the stating lineup combined.

Trying to comeback but then coach subs again and the run ends.

That's what happens when two are basically zeroes on offense (MAW and Ado), one can't shoot (Newman), and the other is having a bad day. It's just not a talented team.

Bring in McGinnis or Madsen at this point and let them chuck up 3s over the next few minutes.

Lakhin is 0-6 on shots inside of 2 feet today.
