Four of five SoCon games POSTPONED today, 1-1-22. What are the quarantine requirements - how many days, etc? What’s the SoCon plan going forward? Are all players across the league fully vaccinated? How does a program quarantine a player? Etc, etc., etc. etc. — this is all obviously very frustrating for all involved.

RE: Covid Related Posts/Cancellations/Discussions
I did see a story about the SoCon policy about calling a game a no contest or forfeit based on available players. Not really sure of a scenario in which you would have 7 players either not infected or not quarantined, which is the trigger for the policy.
Don't know the specifics on vaccination. My guess is the lion's share of the players and staff are fully vaccinated. Not sure the real impact of vaccination on infection and transmission, though, so not really sure how relevant vaccination status is with this particular surge.
Seems like most organizations are following CDC guidelines; I've not had to try to figure them out. I presume that testing would greatly reduce quarantine time after exposure or confirmed infection. I've heard 5 days a lot recently as a quarantine time, so it seems like things would have to fall right to miss only one game.
I think the only thing we can do as fans is to check the ETSU Bucs website the day of the game to make sure the game is still on.
