I have fond memories of him and the years he played. Did he have a nickname? Seems like Big Jack gave all those guys cool nicknames. RIP and prayers for the family.

Powell Funeral Home, Steele, MO

Memorial services for 63 year old Dennis Isbell of Steele will be held Friday, December 31, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home in Steele. Dennis Isbell passed away on December 20, 2021 at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO.
Dennis Isbell was born on December 28, 1957 in Hayti, MO to Walter Isbell and Patsy Smith Isbell. He passed away on December 20, 2021 in Fenton, MO at the age of 63.
He graduated from Blytheville High School and went to college at Memphis State University and played basketball for the university. He was then drafted by the NBA Clippers. He also played basketball in Europe. He was very competitive and loved all sports, and was an All American Athlete. Dennis also loved to go fishing with his Uncle Ray.
He was a self employed general contractor.
He was preceded in death by:
His father: Walter Isbell
His grandparents: Oscar and Stella Isbell
Roy and Ivy Smith
He is survived by:
His mother: Patsy Isbell of Steele, MO
His children: Nicolas Isbell
Haven Crouch
Sarah Isbell - all of Steele, MO
One sister: Leslie Isbell-Williams of Moscow, TN
Five grandchildren: Kyra Dent, Nolan Dent, Harper Crouch, Lucas Crouch, and Kaden Isbell

I remember the "Jump Ball" play we used with him at the opening tap .... More times than not it ended up with Bell getting a dunk .... an awesome way to start the game with a 2-0 Tiger lead !!!
