I went to the most diverse high school in New Mexico. Local politicians tried once to bus more Hispanics and Latinos to it, until they found out how diverse it really was. I believe one of the contributing factors was 2 Latino students had been detained by ICE and sent to El Paso because a Black student didn't like the racist **** they were saying about him in Spanish.
