RE: So are we rooting for cincy?
Some of the G5 NY6 games have been very competitive, some have been like this. But many of the P5 v P5 games have been blowouts too, Alabama has controlled a lot of teams

2021 Cincy so far massively overmatched 450-180 yardage, 27-6 late fourth
2020 Cincy should have beaten Georgia
2019 Memphis outgained Penn State a fatal pick 6 sealed the deal, as much as PSU had dominant stretches our kids did too. Too many FGs. Not a mismatch
2018 UCF was physically dominated by LSU although the final was reasonable
2017 UCF beat Auburn, although that Auburn team was probably the weakest of any of the above 6 opponents

Houston, UCF and Boise State have won several of these games too. WMichigan was competitive, N Illinois was not

So, I was wondering something since this was the Cotton Bowl - how would our 2019 team stack up against this year’s Cincinnati team?

The Tigers would have done well against this Cincinnati team. Tigers would had much better against PSU had we had all our starters. And our coaching staff.

RE: So are we rooting for cincy?
There have been some beat downs in the playoffs. Cincy was in the game for three quarters and showed up better than a lot of P5 teams in the playoffs.

2015 59-20 Oregon over FSU

2016 38-0 Bama over MSU

2017 Clemson 31-0 over OSU

2018 Alabama 24-6 over Clemson

2019 Clemson 30-3 over Notre Dame

2020 LSU 63-28 over Oklahoma

I actually believe Lomax would be a really good safety.

Didn’t watch a second of it or the other game. Now we get Kirby Dumb getting outcoached again next week.

I think this is Georgia’s year.
