Yep, he was given the opportunity to correct mistakes and give them tips instead of them getting sent to the end of the bench so ALo could continue his game of killing the team.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that he was engaged with Lomax being out

Well I think somethings happening and it will be fine. I tend to tune people out when they give lam brain theories. How do you know they don't listen are you in the practices or in the huddle when they are talking to the guys????????

He has so much to offer this program… even at 81. I thought he was our most important recruit after his hiring was announced & I love that he is becoming more active.

That problem is not unique with Memphis. Imo it’s a big reason why Roy Williams retired and why this is Ks last year

I loved seeing him animated and engaged for what I believe is the first time all year. I spoke about how Cal changed his coaching style in the middle of one of our seasons and it was when our ascension began. Hopefully Penny has studied the situation and arrived at a place where he now understands he has one hell of a support system in place and that to not utilize that strength would be insane.

I play close attention to the activities on the bench and Larry has done the same thing during every game I've watched this year. The game against Wichita State was no different in the way he was engaged, talking, coaching, counseling, cheering...

Hope you're right. For sure Brown was engaged for the first time all season.

lol
Larry tells a story about his first week in Memphis how a fan stopped him. He was getting tired and about to walk away, when she mentioned she taught Alex in HS. Larry stopped and told her she did a great job because he is a special young man. Larry thinks he can be one of the best on-ball defenders in college.
but yeah, he's no fan
lol

Oh wait ... my wife says that's me ... My bad !!

Is the coughing & farting synchronized and simultaneous? My wife says I'm the only one she's ever seen with that talent. Just asking to see if there's more of us out there.

04-jawdrop

Your problem is you are not coughing loud enough to cover the sound of the fart. Try working on that.
Then people would talk about how bad his breath is.

I wonder if this thread somehow lit a fire under Coach Brown. He’s been quite animated the last couple of games.

Coach Brown: If you're reading this, send us a signal. Write IkeWasHere on a post-it note, and stick it on the ref's back while he isn't looking.
