Lomax the Loser only needs to see mop-up minutes and only if we're up by 40. Wonder if he could transfer to Wichita State by Saturday, if he can we have a better chance of winning that game.

But Earl would have been on balance and would have likely been able to finish through the contact. Or created enough contact that a foul would have had to been called.

Not when you duck, try to avoid contact and then throw up a wild circus shot like he did. You either pull up for a floater, kick it out or go up strong and create contact to try and force a call...

What is really screwed up is that all the "ALo hate" is 100% on Penny.

If ALo played 8-12 minutes a game, ala Andre Allen, he would be one of the most beloved Memphis players of all time.

Because Penny is forcing him to play in a can't win situation, he is the target of the blame. Of course ALo doesnt help himself at all when he continues to try to do things he knows he isnt capable of.

Lomax misses badly, Dandridge gets pushed out of perfect position for a putback, and LQ misses what wasn't that difficult of a shot.

- We are 6-3 when Bates starts, 4-0 when he has at least 3 turnovers, 6-2 when he has at least 2 rebounds
- We are 3-1 when Tyler scores in double digits, 4-1 when he has 0 assists, 4-1 when he doesn't attempt a free throw
- We are 1-2 when Nolley plays more than 30 minutes, and 5-1 when he plays between 20-22 minutes, 2-4 when he starts.
- We are 4-1 when Williams plays 21 minutes or less, and 1-2 when he plays more than 25 minutes.
- We are 2-5 when Timberlake plays more than 16 minutes. We are 1-3 when he scores more than 6 points, 0-3 when he starts.

I don't need stats to know we play better with Alo. He did have a bad game at Tulane ... and should have dished to someone instead of taking the shot and that's on Penny.
