Would Pastner be interested?
Why not? Better results and less NCAA trouble.

My man is 6-5 right now and 88-80 all time at Georgia Tech.

Things aren’t great but that’s not the answer. No way.

What’s our record right now?

I would take Pastner over Penny over Tubby but you know, why not hire an actual basketball coach?

We have turned down Leonard Hamilton, Bruce Pearl and Scott Drew.

No either tell Penny the east players are not getting a fifth year. If he doesn’t like it, get Greg Marshall or pitino

Penny is Josh Pastner… that’s the problem. No leadership. No ownership. Good recruiters… abysmal leaders.

he can't get the talent at GT as he did here early on.
Still, I think he'd be killing it here with this amount of talent.

Penny is Pastner? Pastner got flayed for not being able to make the second weekend. I’d give anything to reach that point again.

Good recruiter in general but at the most important position, PG, he has failed to recruit even an adequate player.

Pastner just recruited a little differently (a lot more guard heavy...probably had to do with his Arizona experience) which seems to take you further than Penny's fetish for long wings so thats why he won more early on. He wasnt much different overall.

Penny actually has an Alo fetish. He has purposed to play Alo at PG since the day he was hired & WSU released Alo. And no amount of failure has changed that intention.

RE: Would Pastner be interested?
I hated that we didn't consider Chris Beard when he was at UALR. A blind man could see he knew how to coach at a high level. I also really liked Eric Musselman when he was at Nevada. Both those guys would have really elevated the program back to where it needs to be.
