NMSU vs Seattle game postponed due to covid protocols at Seattle.

Four games already cancelled/postponed this week.

Well things just got tougher for the Texans.

5 players and two coaches are out with Covid protocols for the Dixie game. Also Shakur Daniel is out for the rest of the season with an injury from the Air Force game.

No team is more prepared, we only play 5-6 anyway! Daniel running point really wasn't working, either. Back-to-back double-digit wins with Gipson back at the 1-spot. We'll just have to scratch n' claw our way through this road trip. No excuses.

Per WACHoopsDigest, Tahj Small will be out for these conference games.

ACU WBB beats UVU 69 to 63 on 12/30/21

So far ACU is starting off strong with a couple of steals and hitting several 3s. 17-11 ACU with 12:54 in the 1st.

So far we are successful in making UVU play our game. The Wolverines were able to get within two, then back down by nine before scoring a couple more. 38-35 at the half right now.

UVU finally regains the lead 46-45 with 16:23 left.

ACU won't go away and is back up 52-49 with 11:50 left. UVU is doing better at managing our tempo and we aren't getting the transition shots.

ACU up 68-60 with 5:50 to go.

Still 70-60 with 3:07 left.

Lamar falls to Sam in their opening conference game. Lamar could only suit up eight players for tonight's game, with some out for covid protocols and maybe a couple of injuries. Will have to wait and see if Lamar gets anyone back for the SFA game.

74-65 with 1:24 left.

ACU looking solid today against UVU. UVU continuing to look bipolar. Should be a big statement win to open up conference play unless a miracle happens.

Uh oh, ACU giving them a chance with two quick turnovers just under a minute left.

ACU blowing it a little. N0w 74-68 with 46 seconds left. Make that 74-70...

Now we are down to the foul game and give that advantage to ACU: 78-70 with 10 seconds left.
