And they’ve been empowered somehow due to the ‘Rona.
These people were already nuts, now they’ve just gone completely insane.

Most of the videos I see of these "in flight mask arguments/fights" usually involves a woman at least in their mid 30's to early 40's. I suspect a lot of the rage and anger erupting from them is because they may be childless and their biological clock is running like a washing machine on the spin cycle.
I don't see a lot of the male flyers trying to order passengers to put their masks on.

Because we are hoping the covidiots or the dumbasses that freak out about a mask despite everyone on the earth knowing you have to wear one on a plane do not make an already miserable experience last longer than it has to.
Quote:A woman got violent with an older man who refused to wear his mask on a plane -- to the point she actually smacked him and spat on him ... which landed her in hot water.
This gal's name is reported to be Patricia Cornwall, and she was flying Delta on Thursday from Tampa to Atlanta -- when, at one point during the trip, she went ballistic on an old dude ... apparently because he wouldn't put on his face covering while eating and drinking.
At least ... that's what he says in this insane video, which shows Cornwall getting in his face while she stands above him, and eventually strikes him at least once.
She doesn't seem to comprehend his rationale about not having to mask up while taking in food and beverage ... only repeating her demand, until the flight crew had to get involved.
They try and restrain her and push her back to her seat, but she struggles with them -- and eventually hawks one at the man ... who tells her she's going to jail for assaulting him twice. The woman doesn't care ... mocking him in his face, even after he calls her a "Karen."
Eventually, they get her under control ... and word is, Atlanta PD was on the ground waiting for her when they landed. Reports say she was taken to a nearby ADP station, and was then handed off to the FBI. Unclear what charges, if any, she's been booked for at this point.
BTW, the woman was unmasked during this whole ordeal -- leaving it under her chin.
Quote:Now more information has surfaced, and the reports indicate that the man was 80 years old and that other people were injured as well, including at least one crew member, although their injuries were unclear. Multiple crew members had intervened to try to pull her away from the man. A person at the end of the clip, presumably a passenger, alleges that she poured hot water on his leg.
The woman was identified as Patricia Cornwall and was taken into custody by the FBI after they landed in Atlanta.
Delta issued a statement on the incident.
“Flight 2790 from Tampa to Atlanta was met by law enforcement after an unruly customer disturbance during flight. Situations like these are rare for the vast majority of our customers and Delta has zero tolerance for unruly behavior at our airports and aboard our aircraft.”
It turns out there was a little bit more to the story before she went after him about the mask. According to court records, she was trying to make her way back to her seat but was blocked by the flight attendants serving with the beverage cart. So the flight attendants asked her if she would take an empty seat until they could finish and get past her. According to the report she said, “What am I, Rosa Parks?” The elderly man who was sitting nearby took offense to her comment and said to her that she “isn’t black….this isn’t Alabama and this isn’t a bus.” It was after that that she went off on him about his mask. How could anyone possibly make that comparison over being asked to sit in a seat to help out the attendants? That’s completely unhinged.
The records also indicated they viewed the attack on the elderly man as a violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 113(a)(4), assault within the special maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United States because it was on a plane in flight.
According to Heavy, Cornwall has worked as an actress, appearing on Baywatch, and was a Playboy model at one point, although most recently she worked as a Realtor.
Quote:The woman who lost her temper with a senior on a December 23 flight who now faces federal charges, has been identified as an ex-Raiders cheerleader, Playboy model Baywatch and Married…with Children actress turned realtor.
Cornwall, is also known as Patty Breton. An IMBD profile under that name stated that she appeared in an episode of Baywatch and one of Married… with Children in 1996. She is also credited with two Playboy appearances in 1997, ironically one was titled Women Behaving Badly.
According to Fox News, a 1992 Lime Rock trading card of former Raiderette cheerleader Patty Breton showed the same birthday and home state of Arizona.
According to court documents, Cornwall suffers from anxiety and may not have taken her medicine before the flight. Fox News also reported that Florida arrest records show Cornwall had been arrested last month on misdemeanor DUI charges in and released on $1,000 bail. She indicated that she has no source of income in a court filing asking for a public defender.
Cornwall pleaded not guilty in the DUI case, which is still pending. The terms of release in the federal case barred her from interstate travel via common carrier, with the exception of flying home to Los Angeles, as long as she took her medication beforehand.
