Goodbye and Good Luck
I've probably already stayed past my welcome already, so it is time to bid you guys adieu. For a Bison fan coming here, you guys have been pretty welcoming and it is appreciated. I've tailgated with your fans at our place and at Frisco and all have been top notch. I read through your posts during and after the game, and honestly you guys took it way better than we would have. Our board would have burned to the ground...which is a credit to you guys and not to us.

Best of luck to you guys in FBS, for a change I'll be looking for big wins. And maybe someday our paths will cross again. Farewell.

Thanks for the kind words. To be honest, I think going FBS makes it feel better and worse. Better knowing we finally get to move up. Worse knowing we won't get another title.
However, there are a ton of schools that moved up that never won a title, so I am thankful that I got to witness it twice. Perhaps we will welcome you to Harrisonburg in the future. Just thankful it won't be at your dome anytime soon.
Happy holidays and best of luck in the title game. You deserve it.

My only regret (besides losing 3 winnable games) is that we never got to host you guys in Virginia. Come play us for your FBS game sometime soon. Mad respect for your program 04-bow

Best wishes Bizon. Unlike the rest of the group… I want nothing to do with spending money paying you guys to sweat out a close game at home. :)

But I would love to meet again in a bowl one day. 04-cheers

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed partying with the Bison faithful at each game. The hospitality we were shown in both of our trips to Fargo is unmatched. Best of luck in the future!

RE: Goodbye and Good Luck
Thanks, TAB. It was a pleasure having you here. Check in once in a while. It would be great if you all could get to FBS (still confused why the MWC doesn't offer - you would improve that conference immensely and likely dominate it from the jump).

I have been a member of Bisonville for years, so I plan to stick around there just to screw with contrary f**ks like EC8 who spends all of his spare time pulling the wings off of flies in his mom's basement. Be sure to tell him I said so. LOL!

Best of luck in Frisco. Stop Mellott and you stop the Bobcats. No easy chore, though.

Merry Christmas!

Take care, TAB. Hope to see you in the Frisco Bowl as FBS foes in the near future. You all have certainly earned it.

RE: Goodbye and Good Luck
best of luck TAB ! you have been a great representative of your school over the years. you guys have earned your dynasty reputation.

wish we could have evened things out Friday (2011 doesn't count in my book because we were a much different program then) but like in 2017 and 2019 you guys made the plays in crunch time and we didn't.

it's a shame history over time will show this recent series as 3-1 in the Bizon favor, but anyone watching these games knows it was evenly matched teams that went to the final play each time.

sure wish the MAC would come around and add both Dakota State's for football only. I get it doesn't make sense for all sports, but if the MAC was willing to have Buffalo, UMass and even Central Florida in the past, no reason they can't add the Dakota State's for FB.

RE: Goodbye and Good Luck
Good luck in Frisco, at this point playing you guys is pretty much the only thing I'm gonna miss about FCS. I hope you guys can find your way to FBS before too long, it's unfortunate that the geography is so unfavorable. Hell, our geography is very favorable and it still took a while to get the right fit that doesn't feel like we're settling for a stepping stone.

Like Assyrian said, would love to meet you guys in the Frisco Bowl one day! How fitting would that be? 04-cheers

RE: Goodbye and Good Luck
Best wishes in the future TransAmBison for you and your Bizun. You guys were a heck of a lot of fun to be around in Frisco, even after you shattered our dreams. Hope it works out that we meet in the future. Really the only games I feared lately were our FBS game and an NDSU game. The others were kind of boring.

Your program is a well oiled machine and very professional.
It was once written about the Yankees dynasty that they forced teams to make uncharacteristic mistakes and pounced on them when they did. You guys do that to an uncanny degree.

RE: Goodbye and Good Luck
While you are here TAB... i noticed on replay a bit of a pattern:
- our DL gets a good push
- it looks like they can get to QB
- they forget about the runner and overpursue
- QB gets the ball to RB, no sack and many open lanes

The question is...is this a strategy? A coordinated ease up to make the DL think "i have him beat, am going for the sack"

It happened so many times...if it is by plan, it's genius and new to me

Classy thread by you..good luck
