Great share, Lucky! Thanks.

Poor Bob, always minimizing the performance and achievements of Maxx Crosby,
in order to throw shade and attempt to rile his Maxx's father --- to get him off.

Just so tiresome. Yes, we remember Bob when you said Max couldn't make it in the NFL because Maxx was "too skinny" and he would get pushed around. That was dozens and dozens and dozens of messages ago here that you left about Maxx. And that you were an Oakland Raider fan all your life. Show us a photo of you as a child/teen in your Raider jersey and I will eat my hat.

It may be difficult but perhaps you can stop being obsessive about a 2nd Team NFL All Pro Defensive Player and refrain from commenting about him because of your history with his father. It is glaringly obvious to all of us that you are envious of the Crosby's.

Are you capable of not commenting about Maxx Crosby here and focusing on other players and topics where you disappear until the Maxx topic resurfaces? It has become very tiresome to many of us. I doubt that you can stop obsessing about Maxx.

By the way, I have been a guest since this board was created, went to my first game as a Freshman at Michigan Normal in 1948. Was on the field twice in the 1980s when the goal posts were taken down and even backpedaled to nearly miss the falling goal post that bounced (the second time John Porter allowed them to be taken down).

My first football memory at now EMU. I walked into my dorm room the first day. My roommate had found a stack of love letters sent to Doak Walker. A HOF and one of the leagues greatest 100 players, Doak Walker had been staying in that room that summer while the Detroit Lions practiced in Ypsilanti and somehow those letters were left in the drawer there. Earthy early NFL players, our dorm rooms were just fine for them.

Let us remember how far we have come from people on this board predicting just two or three wins a year in 2011 and eventually winning six. Do you remember?! Steve? Who will ever forget that sprint and dive when the Rutgers QB was taken down by one ankle from behind by the great Maxx Crosby in the 4th quarter; to seal our biggest win to date. We were so close so many times and then it finally happened.

In 2049, for our 200th anniversary, I hope that you will all celebrate our school as I had living on campus in 1949. I won't be there, but the dark days of EMU football are over. Thank you, Chris Creighton and Maxx Crosby, and everyone who made our lives a little happier these past 12 years.

Great post Normal!!

Bob is Bob. I thought when he publicly lost and WELCHED BIG TIME on our $20K bet about Joey Hauser, he would have disappeared from the board. I know I would have, but I would have only AFTER donating that $20K to EMU athletics. We have vastly different ethics, what else can one say.

Bob is a provocateur, taking him seriously is our fault as his mission is to be a disruptor. Being perceived as an absolute ******* does not bother him, taking his comments with any sort of reverence is our problem.

Dear Normal1949
In what dorm did you reside? I lived in Munson as a freshman, and it was perfect for being close to other classroom buildings.

The Raiders play at Det on 10/30, Monday Night. EMU hosts WMU on 10/28. If Maxx is in town and if the Raiders will let him leave for a bit...Maxx Crosby Night at the Factory!

Please answer my question. It is crucial to know these things in 2023.

DearLuckeyone,
Thanks. Great article. As long as Maxx has that desire in his heart, he will make it to the Hall of Fame.

During the Raiders last game, the announcers mentioned it’s time to declare Maxx Crosby as possibly the Best NFL player on the Defensive Side of the Ball.

Here’s a dream come true - Detroit trades for Crosby and pushes us to be Superbowl Champions!!

Not nearly as many as the posts you "whiffed" on about him. Any prediction or analysis of him by you was so TOTALLY OFF THE MARK, you established yourself as more comical than Dan, just not at all funny. Accept the facts, the debate is over, he is a great player and reps our alma mater.

No talent there. Jaguar and Land Rover are amongst the lowest rated brands in terms of quality. Very overrated.

L.V. ain't trading Maxx. The fans would run them out of town, and the Raiders don't want to go back to Oakland. 03-lmfao
