We've been at this about 2 years now so yeah if people are just gonna keep freaking out about it instead of finding a way to live with it then yeah a lot more crap is gonna get cancelled again.
I talked to people pretty tied into the University of Arkansas athletic department and they said they would not be shocked at all if stands are empty again in 2022 for basketball... They did not say it was definitely happening just that they would not be shocked at all if it did come to that.
Nah, this is a 2-3 month media/gov hysteria. Omicron is so contagious but mild, we will finally have herd immunity & they'll have to find another reason to control & scare populations.
And you base this on what facts? You have an epidemiology degree? Maybe medical degree? We’ve had Covid now for 2 years and 700k deaths, 5 million cases and expended billions fighting the virus. Hospitals are overrun. And you talk about Hysteria and herd immunity. Ridiculous.
You do realize there's contradictory information from all over the globe. Some studies say this, others say that.
And nobody has to be an epidemiologist or medical doctor to read reports and articles.
According to several reports from South Africa, omicron has already peaked at least in the initial target area of Guteng with NO deaths & very little change in hospitalizations. But that won't keep our gov from hyping vaccination & restrictions.

Just follow the real science my friend.
Or just listen to your doctor's advice. I have a granddaughter who is an ICU nurse and I have reard it all. Better get vaccinated. It's a life or death decision.
What about all the ICU nurses that refused to take it ?
I think they are no longer ICU nurses.
I suppose you're right

Did just that. I've had covid, the delta variety my doctor says. He now strongly recommends that I NOT get a vaccination, saying known side-effects are a higher risk to me than covid, given my natural immunity.

My doc says 8-12 mos according to tests so far. I'm 7 mos past & antibody test still shows good results.
