What are the OVC's strongest sports in the overall scheme of things? Sometimes smaller conferences do pretty well in particular sports.

Too bad we are so geographically out of the footprint, this would be perfect for us.

Looks like you are headed to the Missouri Valley Conference. Most of our fans would love to be headed there with you. You are pretty far out of their footprint as well, especially if MoState eventually leaves as rumored. You are lucky to be near DFW Airport, so you can probably fly direct to most of the MVC destinations. While the MoValley is a very good conference, I question if folks in Arlington will flock to your games to see teams like Northern Iowa, Drake, Evansville, etc. who are geographically distant and that you have absolutely no history with. Winning, which seems to be the only thing that increases attendance for programs like your and ours, will be more difficult as well. What are your thoughts on moving to the MoValley? I have read a lot about how the MoValley fans feel about adding UTA, but have seen little from the UTA side. It appears that, like us, you had no choice but to change conferences so what conference would you chose- WAC, Southland, Summit, or MoValley if it was your decision?

I would prefer to stay in the SBC , but that is evidently not happening. So I think the WAC as there are more familiar faces and I don't think they dislike the idea of adding us as bad as most of the MVC schools seem to. On the MVC fans board they seem to really hate the idea of adding us because of our lack of basketball success . I get it

Really, you are talking about a handful of fans on message boards. Obviously, they are not the one's making the decisions. I think the MVC adds you- but I guess we will see pretty soon.
