Yep. If nothing else local businesses that pay for promos, etc. Just something to get publicity for both the business and the player.

Protective Life already paying ton for stadium rights, they are off hook

Milos have Bo Nix, but only for their sweet tea. Golden Flakes chips or Jacks will be great.

Regions bank is for the $EC and Legacy CC is the sponsor for the team so it will be them instead.

IIRC, Milos also sponsors an Alabama football player. Plus, Bo Nix may not play in-state anymore anyway. Regions is a Fortune 500 company with billions of dollars, they could afford a few thousand for some NIL deals for the Blazers.

Legacy Credit Union is the credit union formed for UAB employees and only available for metro area residents. I’d assume that nobody apart from UAB affiliates even know what it was. I know people who thought Legacy Arena was named “legacy” after the words true meaning, like tradition.

Went to a football game at West Virginia this season and it blew my mind that I walked through the Diversified Energy pavilion to get into their stadium. Hardly even see them mentioned in Birmingham, but they're the "official energy sponsor" of Mountaineer Athletics.
