Georgia WR Commits to CMU
Wide receiver Kamryn Perry (5-9, 165, 4.4) of Marietta (Ga.) High School announced his commitment to Central Michigan last night, via Twitter.

Rated a 3-star recruit in the class of 2022, Perry caught 63 passes for 1,116 yards and 20 touchdowns this season for Marietta. He chose CMU over reported offers from Indiana, Kentucky, Western Carolina and North Carolina A&T.

Indiana came in with a late offer on Kamryn Perry but he plans to sign with CMU.

I'm reminded a little of Ken Ealy. Here's hoping!

Thanks for the update BW.....It does suck but it really would be hard to turn down a schollie from that traditional football power in Bloomington.

He might be fast. And I’m sure it sounds like sour grapes by not picking CMU, but when this was first posted that he was committed to Central, the first thing I thought was: 5-9, 165? He’s going to get his bell rung a lot playing FBS level teams.

But, hey, good luck to him.

Just another reason to hate Indiana.

I suspect you're right, that size probably would have played much better in the MAC than the big ten. At least he can be home for the holidays every year and not have to worry about those pesky bowl games.
