UT Rio Grande Valley @ UTSA - Call me crazy, but I think UT Rio Grande Valley wins this one at UTSA.

Wake Forest vs Charlotte - This game is in Charlotte but played in the NBA Hornets arena. Could be close, but Wake Forest wins this one.

CUSA 0 - 2 tonight plus a scrimmage game win

I have lived in Florida my entire life and I had never heard of this school. Apparently a pretty good school but not a good basketball school. We’ll go to the game anyway but need a 20+ win here.

Liberty (7-4) defeated East Carolina 74-64. Darius McGhee had 27 points. Liberty trailed by 3 at half against 8-3 ECU but rolled in 2nd half.

Probably not that great of a win. ECU's best win this season so far has been against Gardner-Webb (NET 212). Their other wins were against teams with the following NET rankings, 318, 309, 244, 239 twice (ODU by the way), 297, and 230.

I can't imagine the AAC will allow FAU to continue to schedule this way in the future. CUSA has allowed teams to schedule Non-D1 schools for years now. FAU has 3 this season.

Not a great night for CUSA. FAU takes care of their non-D1, but Charlotte falls to Wake Forest by 3 and UTRGV blows out UTSA by 18.

When I called their game a cupcake game, I didn’t mean UTSA had to play the role of cupcake. Dang. Watched the end of the Charlotte game. Never folded, fought their way back into it. Wake escaped.

Today's Games

North Texas @ Wichita State - The Shockers win this one easily.
Western Kentucky vs Louisville - Louisville wins, but WKU gives a good showing.
Southern Miss @ UL Monroe - UL Monroe wins this one.
Marshall vs Northern Iowa - Marshall wins, but it will be closer than they want.
UAB vs West Virginia - UAB wins in a nail biter.
LSU @ Louisiana Tech - LSU is too much for La. Tech

CUSA is 2-4 on the day.

An interesting note about the North Texas- Wichita State game today. This is UNT's first and only road game of the OOC. All other games away from the Super Pit have been neutral site games, as will the tilt next week in Oklahoma City against Tulsa.

I'll be pulling myself away from the bowl games today just to watch the Mean Green play Wichita. We have to play better than we did against SHSU if we want to steel this one.

Congrats on the impressive win - easily the best win by a CUSA men's team this year (although I guess UAB and North Texas could post wins over higher ranked NET teams today as well).

How did y'all get Louisville to play yall at home? Can't imagine they'd wanna do that again
