We need to win all three games left in OOC to gain confidence going into conference play. But more importantly we need an entirely revamped offense. Our goal should be to score a minimum of 80 points in each game WITH MOVEMENT, cuts and picks. More than half our shots need to be from picks and cuts going to the bucket.

High Point plays in a new arena that's similar to CofC's arena. Any UNCW fan who's near High Point should go to the game.

Our starting point guard had one assist vs a DII team. I know that Coach is trying to figure out a way to use Jaylen Sims...but I would "start and actual point guard at the point" to 'movement, cuts, and picks" as one of our goals.

We started the game very sluggish and were behind with Sims at PG. As soon as he went out and Phillips came in, we went on a 17-2 run in less than 5 minutes. We started the second half with Sims at PG, but a quick foul on Harvey forced Siddle to put Phillips in at PG, so Sims didn't play PG much in the second half. And it's no surprise we had much better player movement, quicker ball movement and more wide open looks. I stated why Siddle us having a hard time finding a spot for Sims and it's really simple. We have better players at each position. At this point Siddle is sacrificing the entire team for Sims.

No good spots for barbecue in the western part of NC. They are not whole hog and put ketchup in their sauce! I've never been a fan of western NC barbeque cuisine. But do what you must.
Most importantly - get us a win!

That’s correct. I don’t know what those clowns on the western side of the state making, but it’s not BBQ.

While Eastern isn't my favorite, certainly agree with the consensus here.

RE: @High Point - GAME 8
I plan to head over from the Triangle to check out the new arena and see the Seahawks in person for the first time this year.
I always check out BBQ on any b ball road trip. Good BBQ is wherever you find it.
Kepley's has been there a long time and was very good not sure how it has held up but I am leaning for a plate there.
Option 2 is to stop in Graham and check Steve's Smokehouse in Graham off my list as it is right on the way, hear great things about Steve's. Usually I would consider Stamey's but it no longer on the way to High Point
Also on radar is Country BBQ and Country Joe's BBQ in High Point.
Hope lots of Hawks show up at HPU the new college Disney world, if you haven't see their campus in last 5 years you are going to be blown away how nice it is

Despite growing up in western NC I prefer Eastern style, but Lexington style is still pretty good.
I've never eaten Kepley's, so I can't compare, but if I were making the trip I would stop at Speedy's in Lexington.

Has anyone here had Texas style? Honestly i've only been to Texas once and i'm far from a BBQ guru but it was the best i've ever had. I probably enjoyed it more because of the focus on brisket. But i enjoyed the pig there as well.

There used to be a place off highway 86 NW of Chapel Hill that served eastern style on oak but they closed a few years ago. It was good and I’m not a huge fan of it myself. I grew up in Wilmywood too LOL.
Headed to mountains to snow ski/ water ski. Enjoy the trip y’all and bring one back!

I've been to Texas quite a number of times, and I agree on brisket. There's not a place it taste better. They know what they're doing with that. However, they and the rest of the world need to leave BBQ to eastern North Carolina.
The southwest does amazing stuff with carne asada and tri-tip too. I highly advise giving it a go if you're ever out here.
