I wish I still had the screenshot from 2016, but when we went out after the game, ambient was 1 and wind chill was -30. The bartender at the hotel advised us not to try to walk too far. We didn't really listen. Bartender was correct.

I lived in the MSP area for 14 years. You couldn't pay me enough to live in that part of the country again. Winter from October to May many of my years there. My first winter we had a Halloween Storm that dropped 36 inches of wet snow and then the temps dropped to sub zero. The highways were like washboards for weeks because it was too cold for the chemicals to melt the ice. Just awful and couldn't wait to get the hell out of there.

That was a winter storm for the ages. I was busy chasing my daughters sports around the city. After our kids left home to live, we winter in FL or Tx, somewhere away from that crap.
