Tech WILL beat the living manure out of the Cajuns. Our coach is a nice guy, love the guy.. He isnt a good coach, though. Enjoy the pounding you will give us.

We were just too "scared" to post a game thread. Tech keeps beating them, they keep saying we're too scared to play them, we beat them again, they say we're "too scared to play" again,... rinse and repeat.

This has been a great rivalry and series.

From the early 1970's when Tech's Mike Green scored 40+ vs. Bo Lamar and the VERY good Cajuns' team, to the 1985 game when Karl Malone led the Dawgs past a game/very good Cajuns team in easily, the best basketball ever played in the TAC that night, to...today.

Tech leads the all-time series 90-76, this is the 167th meeting, making USL/ULL our most played opponent in history.

We have played each other in 86 out of 94 possible seasons over the decades. Doesn't look like either school is ducking the other...

Louisiana is WAY too sloppy on offense! Should have been up more at the half but the better team won. Louisiana was without a big center but that likely wouldn’t have changed much. Time to fire Bob Marlin.

That’s a good win. These are the games we cannot lose OOC if we want any shot at an at large ever again. I turned it on a few minutes before halftime, and La Tech looked like the better team from that point on.

Jordan Brown is as good as advertised. Terrific player.

Tech won because over the full 40 minutes we got better guard play overall. ULL needs to clean up its open court play and reduce the turnovers. Did much better in the 2nd half and ended up with about their season average for a game...16 turnovers. Tech shot 83% from the FT line. That was the difference.

This is a great rivalry.

I agree with everything you said.

Our guard play is awful and we play very undisciplined ball. Lofton in a stud and Tech can hit their FT shots. Like I said, the better team won. Congratulations on the win and looking forward to continuing this rivalry.
