Best bar in Cincinnati to watch the game at?
Well for the conference championship i was going to tailgate and watch the game somewhere but lucked into tickets.
Just found out i'm off Dec 31. I work the day before so not enough time to get to Dallas without a flight.
What about going out to watch the game in Cincinnati that day. Where would the best sports bar be in your opinion?

A watch party in 5/3 would be a good idea.

To each his own, but...
I can't watch my team's big games in a bar. I understand the concept, but for some reason I just can't do it.

I miss not hearing the commentary clearly. I prefer to watch big games in a back room of my house.
Though I will admit I watched the Notre Dame game in a big outdoor tent with 100-200 other UC fans, and the camaraderie was fantastic!

I’m the same way. Was at B-Dubs and decided my curved hi-def 70+ inch with surround sound was a much better option. I wanted to hear the crowd. The food and drink much cheaper as well.

I was stuck watching the ND game at a B-Dubs in Utah.
Maybe I am OCD about things, but I need to be able to hear what is going on, especially when there is a penalty, review, etc.
I like going to the games for the atmosphere, but if I have to watch it on TV I want it to be on my TV where I can hear it, I can tell people to shut up or get out of the way, I can pause, rewind, etc with the DVR... and I can drink and eat for a lot cheaper! - and no lines at the bathroom!

I have to imagine as we get closer to the date some establishment will announce a watch party.

Seconded. They’ll have it on every TV with sound, etc. The Alumni Association will also announce a watch party once it’s closer to the game.

There are a lot of people on this forum who shouldn't be watching Bearcats games in public places

I fit that description. Or at least not around small children.

How about Fifth Third Arena, with big screens, food, and beverages? That could be a good time and a revenue stream for UC.

Spent a ton of my mid 20s drinking at Arlens. Great bar.

I want to come to campus for the football national championship game. I am assume they would open Fifth Third for that, or would they need to put the game on the screen at Nippert?
