Just heard that SMU (in the AAC) is giving every football player and every basketball player $36,000 base salary from booster's NIL pool. I just don't see how the FAUs, UNCCs, and UTSAs are going to keep up with that. I really hope we don't get into that kind of arms race in the Belt. Though I did already see the CCU quarterback signed a big deal for an undisclosed amount of money.

This was the article I hit when following up on his post. It just said "mens" basketball. Maybe it's poorly written and omitted the womens basketball team?
