Not sure MT needs to keep playing anybody in Football who has left the current configuration of CUSA. Since we have a winning record against "almost all" of them ; we can just leave it as it is. We really don't have anything top prove with Charlotte, FAU, Old Dominion, Southern Miss, or Marshall. And we rarely ever played Rice in our years in CUSA. Now, if we should someday see North Texas, UTSA, or Marshall in a Bowl Game that might be of some interest to me.

Have zero interest in playing any of you. We don't normally schedule AAC, MAC, or SB schools. I rather continue playing MW schools or P5 for paydays.

I feel like most of the CUSA schools will keep a full non-con schedule, but I would enjoy a home-and-home football series with LT. Of the new schools, I wouldn't mind an occasional road trip to SHSU.

UTEP has always traveled well to Denton so if they'd let us buy game them, I'd be all for that. (I enjoy trips to El Paso, but if they don't want to do h&h, then definitely a buy game home game for us).

Again, I seriously doubt there will be room on the schedules, but would welcome h&h's with MUTS, WKU, and Liberty too.

Count me among the Liberty folks who like the idea of playing Marshall, ODU & Charlotte moving forward.

Selfishly as a Houstonian I would love to see the Flames engage the Owls with whom we have never played.

The day UTEP plays at UNT as a buy game.....just shoot me.

RE: What Series Do You Hope Continue....
JSU doesn't have any existing rivalries with the teams who'll be in CUSA when we finally become fully eligible, but we do have a minor one with UAB dating back to their short-lived time as an FCS/I-AA program in the 1990s. We played this past season. It'd be nice seeing that one continue, even if they're off to the American.

Our other FBS rivalries are with teams in the Sun Belt.

As with UAB, we played Ga State a few times during their formative FCS and transitional years. Not a huge rivalry by any means, but it was growing until they completed their transition to FBS. Restarting that one would be nice, even if it wasn't every single season.

And then there's that other school about 3 hours to our south. We haven't met on the field since 2001. It may only mean something to fans over 40, but plenty of us on both sides would like to reignite that one. It was huge in its day. It could easily sell out both teams' stadiums every year. As soon as both of us can fit it into our schedules, it needs to happen.

I guess Tech will soon stop being UTSAs most played opponent. That's kind of a shame.
