Hotels in Shreveport
Anyone know anything about where to stay in Shreveport? Is there an alumni hotel? What is the team hotel? Any recommendations?

I once stayed at the Holiday Inn Holidome.

During a banquet in its main ballroom, ceiling tiles began falling while a wedding reception was taking place in the ballroom above us.

Do not recommend.

Don't stay at any place near the airport. there are some cheaper hotels in that area but not worth the problems. Lot's of drug problems in that area.

RE: Hotels in Shreveport
On the east side of the river is the best place. But on weekends the casinos get filled with people coming from Texas . They are usually expensive. There is a large river walk area near the river. Also there are some nice hotel's near Harrah's before you get into the Shreveport area where the interstate turns where you can go right on 220. But like downtown it fills up on the weekends and is usually expensive. We stayed at the Springhill Suites at that location when we were going to North Texas game. Nice hotel.-- But if had been just me, or just guys going, I would have elected for a cheaper hotel someone along the interstate past Shreveport.
