Not surprising, but WKU just lost our OC. Zach Kittley was just hired as the OC for TX Tech.

we might not win but I seriously doubt it will be a blowout. I watched UTSA in the championship (great game) and the blowout loss to UNT and what should have been a loss to USM. App defense is much better than UTSA, I think we can keep WKU in the ~30 point range which seems to be the lowest they can output. Remains to be seen if our O can score enough to win though.

Worst possible match up for WKU and Baily to break all the records. We suck against the run after we lost our best LB. Our strengths play right into the hands of Apps strengths and vice versa. Horrible matchup, we lose by at least 3 TDs. App has never lost a bowl game. Our Football Head coach is about like our Basketball head Coach, will choke in the big games..

WKU fans have shown up to the Boca Bowl in the past and most love it, however, WKU basketball plays Louisville the same day at home in BG so I can see many choosing to stay and watch the basketball game since it's at home against a major instate rival. I hope we have a good showing in Boca but I wont be surprised if it's down from the past because of the Louisville game.

If you need a charter out of the Boynton Inlet area (Boynton is North of Boca) I have a couple recommendations. Wahoo, Dolphin, King, Sail and good bottom fishing.

Thanks but I got a hookup that I've used for years and he's open for the 2 days I need him. Going to spend one day fishing for giant grouper around the canals close to the boat dock in Fort Lauderdale.

This whole area (60 miles) is just relaxing and no worries and prefect winter weather...if you dont like the cold. I'm getting closer and closer to calling this area home for the winter months.

This will be a really fun game. Elite rushing attack vs an elite passing attack.

Dont know that I'd call it an "elite" rushing attack. They're ranked 64th but I'd say it's a good rushing attack.

We bought a condo (Ft Lauderdale) facing and right across from the ocean in 2015. The unit next to us that sold a month after we closed just sold. We started to buy it for the rental income and wish we had.

It just sold for 3x what it went for, 6 years ago, and well over list. Its a silly world we are living in and in a few years some good property will be had for pennies on the dollar for what people are paying today.

App has a much more balanced run / pass offense this year compared to previous teams. That is typically a good thing but we seemed to get away from running against UL in the championship even though we had pretty good success. We had the talent this year to be elite in running, passing, and defense but we never seemed to put it all together for a full game.

Wouldn't surprise me. Havent heard but I'd advise them to skip it. App's D is far too good for WKU and Zappe doesnt need to get hurt every time the App D blast thru our little O line and demolish our QB.

I know there's a lot of tongue in cheek talk around here but if App wins it will 100% be because the D played aggressive and abused WKU.

App's D is several level above App's O. And App has had a 1000 yard rusher for 10 straight years (next university has had a 1000 rusher 3 years in a row.)

Not sure of App State's NFL prospects but personally I think it will be hard to beat WKU with Zappe playing. If they skip to stay healthy for senior bowl, i'm pretty sure App would win. Not a knock against App or WKU but its the not the same team without Zappe. I think holdouts matter the most in this game or more so than any other G5 matchup considering what Zappe did this year.

Yeah, was pumped for this game but with coaches leaving and now some players hitting the portal it's looking less competitive.
