Championship game coverage
The CUSA Championship game coverage was awesome!

Friday time slot was perfect with only competition being PAC 12 game.

Inside College Football on CBS Sports Network had great studio coverage tbroughout the week. I watched the show on Tuesday night and had a great feature on Zappe as well as an extended preview of the game. A packed Alamodome looked great on TV.

Everyone talks about ESPN coverage of SBC, but their champ game is going head to head against SEC, AAC, MWC. It’s basically buried with all of the big games going on.

It will be interesting to compare ratings and time slots.

Kudos to CUSA and CBSSN!

Only issue with CBSSN is access. You have to pay to get it if you stream only.

Same with me. Not an extra package.

My wife set up our Disney/Netflix/etc...TV package and we get CBSSN as part of the package. I know, via Suddenlink and other on-line options, we can add other networks/channels. Whatever my wife did, she did well!

RE: Championship game coverage
CBS sports is quality. And Friday night was probably preferable to most of the conference fans. But for recruiting, kids aren’t going to find out how they can get CBS. They’re going to watch espn on their phone. And they are going to be watching a whole lot more on Saturday than the night before. Judy needs someone in her office to make our commercials and presentation geared more for recruits, because she looks at the world through her age-group (and mine) eyes.

Yep, it's pretty much the only tourny championship game I didn't get a chance to at least watch parts of.

CBSSN usually doesn't provide rating data. I would guess it was a solid number for them, but no way to know for sure. One of the many reasons we need a better media deal.

Not sure how anyone who is a fan of CUSA cannot have CBSSN by now. We have been on this channel since we moved in 2014, its really not that hard to add to anything service you use..

Just tells me the ones without are not really fans of their school and or just fans when convenient or a big game. More than likely they are like 3/4ths of the WKU alum I know. Cheer or go to a WKU game when a big opponent comes to town, otherwise its UK or UofL all the time and will cheer for WKU 3 or 4 times a year and pay attention...

It's not available on my cable package.

My mom has it so I'll see games when I visit if I choose to record them. But I'm not paying for another channel . ESPN plus is worth it. Cbs sports isn't.

Thankfully only one more year of this crap tv deal
