Administrators tried to convince him to stay, but he’s looking for a change. It’s disheartening, because he was constantly improving the team.

Apparently he is going to be doing something with Mormon missions.

Sounds like Bronco took the Roy Williams path and decided that the brave new world of NFL-lite without any salary caps or trade restrictions wasn't a very fun environment to compete in, especially at Virginia.

The Alliance successfully forced ESPN to go to open market for the new CFB Playoff. Maybe now they can focus on the actual day to day regulatory regime in collegiate athletics before it completely melts down.

Great year to be hiring assistants and coordinators. Terrible year to be hiring a head coach.

Clemson OC Tony Elliott flew to Charlottesville to interview, but it was reported that negotiations "hit a snag". The general assumption, of course, was that the "snag" was over money, but I think one fan on Tigernet nailed it:
