SBC Volleyball Postseason update
In the NCAA Tourney, South Alabama fell to Miami (FL) by a score of 1-3 in the first round.

In the NIVC Tourney, Troy won their first round match against Middle Tennessee, 3-0.

Troy now plays North Florida in the second round today at 1pm CST on ESPN+.

South Alabama won the first set. Lost a close second set. Lost an even closer third set where the match point kept flipping sides. And then lost the fourth set. We definitely competed and could have beaten Miami but it wasn’t meant to be. All of Miami’s losses have been to top teams so they’re a good team. They felt slighted for not getting a national seed. Overall it was a good showing for our first ever volleyball NCAA appearance.
