ODU's WFT vs Seahawks on MNF
Old Dominion royalty Taylor Heinicke leads the Washington Football Team against Super Bowl Champion Russell Wilson and the Seahawks on Monday Night Football tonight!

If Washington wins, they take control of the #7 seed for the playoffs.

The last two weeks, he has beaten Tom Brady and Cam Newton. He's generating buzz in DC as he continues to improve in the NFL. That buzz belongs to the Sun Belt now!

Here are some of his signature plays in his 10 games as a starter for Washington

The pylon dive in the playoffs against brady last year

Extending a play to win the game against the Falcons

A perfect throw

This was just a great game he had last week

He also lead a 19 play, 80 yard, 10:26 long drive against the Buccaneers in the fourth quarter to seal the game against Tom Brady.

GO HEINICKE!

Seems like Taylor threw for 50,000 yds while at ODU.

And that was just in that one game against New Hampshire

I liked Taylor when he was with Carolina, he was just behind Cam and when you're behind that, you're not going to be given time to develop. I'm getting Jeff Garcia vibes from how dude is playing right now.

As for beating Cam last week, Newton did everything you could ask someone to do within 10 days of joining a team. The Panthers offensive line is just terrible man.

Have really enjoyed watching him play this season. Guy is electric on screens.

His injury last night looked scary and when he sat up gave all of us watching a huge sigh of relief. Hope whatever the injury is resolved quickly and has him back on the field and 100% sooner than later.

South Alabama's Gerald Everett also played in the game. Any other SBC alum in this game we are missing?

(ODU) Taylor Heinicke - QB - 27/35 - 223 yards - 1 TD
(ASU) JD McKissic - RB - 30 yards on 7 carries & 26 yards on 5 catches - 2 TDs
(USA) Gerald Everett - TE - 37 yards on 5 catches - 1 TD

Three of the 4 total touchdowns in this NFL game were scored by former SBC players. One of the 4 TDs was an SBC to SBC Touchdown, QB to RB. Interesting. And ODU, we're claiming Heinicke as Sun Belt now, so get used to it. 03-drunk

Be our guest. CUSA doesn't deserve him, and he actually played against some of the Sun Belt teams too. JMU, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, and Coastal

As for Gerald Everett and the Sun Belt representation in this game: that's awesome, I didn't know!! An SBC monday night football game. Love it

Jeremy Reaves who is on the WFT roster is also from South Alabama. He started a few games last year and has played some here and there. Each time Washington has released him they pick him back up on the practice squad, which is where he is now. He doesn’t quite have the size they’re looking for but he has a lot of heart.
